Mixing / Mastering Services
Over the past 5 or 6 years, like most, I’ve been obsessing over my mixes. Making sure that my songs works well for DJs and that they stand up against the mixes of my peers. On this journey I’ve learned what works best for general listening and for the club. I keep things incredibly simple, which always seems to garner the greatest results. But, I also understand that this process is not easy. So if you’re struggling to nail your mix, let me help.

Watch this first…
I made a video about mixing to hopefully clear up a few unknowns. There is no special secret to mixing, it just takes practise. I’m forever frustrated with the amount of misleading information out there and the charlatans willing to take advantage of impressionable beginners. Over time, you will learn to become more self reliant in the studio. As music makers, I really believe this should be our ultimate goal.
Before sending stems…
Please follow these steps (in order) for your stem mixing submission:
1. Finalise Your Music
It’s important that you’ve taken your song all the way to the end. That you are happy with the arrangement, compositional elements and consider the song finished.
2. Demo Mix
I recommend you doing a demo mix yourself, so I have a reference to work with. For this, stay away from trying to colour your mix too much, just use basic levels, panning and EQ.
3. Export Stems
Please export clearly labeled stems of your song. Turn off any limiters on the master and make sure the file types are .WAV or .AIFF and rendered at 32-bit.
4. Upload stems
Once your ‘demo mix’ and stems are exported, please upload them here. Include 1 or 2 reference songs also, so I have an idea of what you’re aiming for.
6. Get in touch
Once payment is made, please contact me to open up a line of communication. Please allow up to 14-days for completion of your first mix. I offer two revisions after the first mix.
